1. Statue of unity (INDIA)

The statue of unity is a statue of independence hero Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel and located in the state of Gujarat. It is the tallest statue in the world with a height of 183 meters (597 ft) and it is located on Sardar Sarovar dam on river Narmada. Statue of unity construction started in 2014 and completed in 2018 and constructed by Larsen and Turbo (L&T). The construction cost of the statue of unity is US$ 420 million dollars and Statue of unity inaugurated on 31st October 2018 by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 143rd anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel birth.

2. Spring temple Buddha (CHINA)

The spring temple Buddha is a statue of Buddha located in the Zhaocun Township of Lushan county, Henan, China. Statue construction starts in 1997 and completed in 2008 and the height of the statue is 128 meters (420 ft). Spring temple Buddha construction cost is US$ 55 million dollars. If we add the height of pedestal of 25 meters and 15 meters so the total height of Spring Temple Buddha is 208 meter (682 ft).

3. Laykyun Sekkya ( MYANMAR)

The Laykyun Sekkya is also a statue of Buddha located in khatakan Taung, near monywa, Myanmar. Statue construction stated in 1996 and it was completed in 21st February 2008 and height of 116 meters (381 ft) which was the tallest statue at that point of time and it was commissioned by the chief abbot Ven.

4. Ushiku Daibutsu (JAPAN)

The ushika daibutsu statue is situated in Ushiku Ibaraki prefecture, Japan. It was tallest statue in the world between 1993 and 2002. ushika daibutsu statue depicts Amitabha Buddha and it is made of bronze. ushika daibutsu statue is 100 meters (330ft) tall and 10-meter base, 10-meter lotus platform which makes total height of 120 meters (390 ft). ushika daibutsu statue construction completed in 1993 and has an elevator which takes visitors up to 85 meters (279 ft).

5. Sendai Daikannon (JAPAN)

Sendai Daikannon is a large statue of the Gem-bearing form of Kannon located in Sendai, Japan. It was the first statue in the world to achieve 100 meters tall statue milestone. Sendai Daikannon is 100 meters tall (330 ft) and constructed completed in September 1991. Sendai Daikannon depicts the Bodhisattva Kannon from Shingon Buddism.
